The horizontal spiral discharge sedimentation centrifuge is a mechanical equipment that uses the principle of centrifugal sedimentation to continuously separate the materials containing density difference in the suspension.

Working principle
Two phase decanter centrifuge
The suspension enters the drum through the feed pipe and the spiral
discharge port . Under the action of the centrifugal force
generated by the high - speed rotation , the solid particles with a
larger specific gravity are deposited on the inner wall of the drum
, and the spiral blades that move relative to the drum continuously
move
The solid particles deposited on the inner wall of the drum are
scraped and pushed out of the slag discharge port . The separated
clear liquid flows out of the drum through the opening of the
liquid layer regulating plate . The relative movement between the
screw and the drum , that is , the differential speed is realized
by the differential , and its size is controlled by the auxiliary
motor.
Three phase decanter centrifuge
The centrifuge consists of two rotors ,one is called " drum " , and the other is " screw unloader " ( referred to as a screw ) . When the drum rotate at high - speed , with the slurry along the drum , by centrifugal force , and this centrifugal force is many times greater than gravity , so that the solid particles will be separated from the liquid in the centrifuge drum axis , sedimentation to the inner wall of the drum . A screw unloader located in the drum rotates below the speed of the drum and pushes the deposited solid particles to the slag outlet . The differential speed between the outer drum and the screw unloader ( affects the slag pushing Speed ) depends on the gear ratio of the differential and its speed . The two - phase liquid is divided into two layers by centrifugal force . The heavy phase layer is drawn out by the centripetal pump against the wall of the drum and discharged from the heavy phase outlet . The light phase layer is close to the screw end , thrown out by centrifugal force from the overflow port , and then discharged from the light phase outlet . The whole work is continuously completed between the closed upper and lower shells .
The centrifuge is a countercurrent horizontal spiral discharge sedimentation centrifuge for sludge dewatering. The main engine is composed of drum (stainless steel 2205), screw (stainless steel 2205+316L) and differential system. The differential speed is automatically fed back and adjusted according to the load change, and the pushing power is automatically compensated to ensure the constant dryness of the solid slag and get a drier solid slag.
It is poured by an integral centrifuge, and then processed by precision turning after solution treatment. The solid phase slag discharge port is equipped with replaceable tungsten carbide wear-resistant bushing. The inner wall of the centrifuge drum is welded with anti-skid wear-resistant strips to prevent the solid particles from tangential rotation and wear on the inner wall of the drum.
1.All-round anti-wear protection, wear-resistant parts are equipped to the drum inner wall, slag outlet, outer circle of the slag discharge port, the spiral blade, and the spiral distributing port etc. which are easy to replace on site and greatly reduce maintenance costs.
2.According to the characteristics of the product (processing material)working conditions, optimize the drum length to diameter ratio, speed and drum cone structure.
3.Intelligently adjust the differential speed and torque according
to the product concentration and flow changes. When the feed
concentration changes during the dewatering process,the centrifuge can
intelligently adjust the slip and torque of the drum and screw.
4.Choose a planetary gear differential with heavy load and large
transmission ratio.
5.The centrifuge, occupying a small space, is simple to install and
debug. This machine is fully sealed operated, which create thegood
production environment.
6.The double frequency conversion control is adopted by the main
motor and the differential device auxiliary motor to
realize stepless speed regulation, which is applicable to a wide
range of materials.
